RIVER MUSEUM TO HOST “ON THE JOB WITH PAW PATROL®” COMMUNITY EVENT
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium will host "On the Job with PAW Patrol®" on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event coincides with the museum's summer exhibit, PAW Patrol TM: Adventure Play.
The day will highlight real-life community heroes inspired by the beloved PAW Patrol characters from the hit preschool series produced by Spin Master and airing on Nickelodeon. Families will enjoy hands-on activities and interactive experiences designed to connect them with professionals such as Dubuque police and fire, U.S. Coast Guard, a veterinarian, city recycling, University of Dubuque Aviation, Dubuque Regional Humane Society, and others. Attendees will explore a variety of career paths and build a stronger sense of community.
Activities are tailored for children ages 3 to 8, though all PAW Patrol fans are welcome. Programming will take place across campus, including the Boatyard, where you can “touch-a-truck,” and the first floor of the William Woodward Mississippi River Center.
