Blue Catfish are a native species in the Mississippi River. These fish are often found near the bottom of freshwater channels where there is a strong current. Blue Catfish are very large, sometimes exceeding 100 pounds and measure between two and five feet in length! Blue Catfish enjoy eating small invertebrates, clams, mussels, and other fish.
