The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is excited to host our first ever River Museum InSight: Audio Description Tours event to better accommodate visitors who are blind or low vision. This event will take place on Tuesday, December 5 from 5 PM - 7 PM in the National Rivers Center.
We have partnered with Audible Visions to provide training to our staff and create audio description of select exhibits. During the event, the lights will be turned up, additional navigation tools will be in place, educators will be stationed to describe the animals/exhibits and increased tactile experiences will be available. All ages welcome!
