Ever wanted to know what a night at the museum is really like? This Dino-Mite Overnight is your chance! Spend a night at the River Museum and enjoy a tour and educational activities, explore Ice Dinosaurs: The Lost World of the Alaskan Arctic after dark, kick back with a movie on the big screen, and sleep among the aquariums.
Dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning are included in registration. Guests are welcome to bring snacks for during their stay. Popcorn will be provided for the movie, courtesy of Phoenix Theater.
This experience is open to families with children ages 6 and older. Adults may not attend the overnight without a child between the ages of 6-12.
July 12:
• 5:00 PM – Guests arrive, check in, set up sleeping areas and enjoy dinner
• 6:00-7:30 PM: Participate in activities lead by the education department.
• 7:45 PM – 8:45 PM: explore the Ice Dinosaurs: The Lost World of the Alaskan Arctic traveling exhibit. The exhibit store will also be open!
• 9:00-10:30 PM: Enjoy a screening of Jumanji in the Journey Theater
• 11:00-11:30 PM: Settle in for the night. Lights out at 11:30.
July 13:
• 7:00-8:00 AM: Wake up and pack up. Take bags to cars.
• 8:00-9:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast at the Grill.
• 8:30-10:00 Option for guided tour before the museum opens or check-out.
Included:
• All programs mentioned are included in the price.
• Admission for one day is included with this overnight. Guests may tour the museum more fully on July 12 prior to the start of the overnight or on July 13 prior to departure.
• Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
Cost: $75 per person (member rate); $90 per person (non-member)
Important Information:
• Children under the age of 6 are not eligible for the overnight. Families and groups with children under the age of 6 will be asked to leave the event without a refund.
• Adults may not attend the overnight without a child between the ages of 6-12. If you attend the event and do not have children in your party, you will be asked to leave the event without a refund.
• If you've purchased tickets incorrectly by mistake, you have until two weeks prior to the event to request a refund. After the two week period, no refunds will be given, and you will not be admitted to the event.
